Dear Family,

We have been reviewing the following skills that prevent problems here at school:

Everything we do, say, and how we look either makes people feel comfortable (positive impression) or uncomfortable (negative impression).  Most of the time, unexpected behaviors make a negative impression and people may feel uncomfortable being around us which can lead to a misunderstanding.  When we use our eyes to read the room (situation), we can do or say what’s expected to prevent a problem or misunderstanding.

At home, please try to reinforce the skills above to prevent misunderstandings.
